A paper in this week’s issue of Nature announces the completion of the sequencing of the genome of Sorghum bicolor. The International Rice Genome Sequencing Project (IRGSP) has released an updated genome sequence for Oryza sativa cv. Nipponbare. More information can be found at the release announcement for IRGSP Build5.
