AG2PI Virtual Field Day: “Public-Private Partnerships in Education and Commercialization” on July 19, 2023

The Agricultural Genome to Phenome Initiative (AG2PI) is hosting a virtual field day entitled  “Public-Private Partnerships in Education and Commercialization,” focused on public-private partnerships in education pertaining to agricultural genomic and phenomic analyses, on July 19th. Dr. Addie Thompson, from Michigan State University, will discuss a computational and plant sciences graduate course that successfully collaborated with industry groups, providing students with valuable information and hands-on experience. Dr. Nadilia Gomez, from the University of Minnesota, will talk about the commercialization of scientific innovation and the benefits of stakeholder support for new ideas, as well as the translation of scientific breakthroughs into new products and services.
