International Horticultural Congress (IHC), Aug. 14-20, Registration Ends June 15

The International Society for Horticultural Science is hosting the 31st International Horticultural Congress (IHC), which has been held every four years since 1959, from August 14th to August 20th in Angers, France. The meeting will include plenary talks, oral and flash presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities. 

The leading topics that will provide the structure for the meeting are: 

• Competitiveness and skills for horticultural value chains

• Food, human health and well-being of citizens

• Sustainability of production systems

• Adaptation to climate changes and effect mitigation

The keynote speakers are:

• Jessica Fanzo, PhD, Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Global Food Policy and Ethics, Johns Hopkins University

• Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, Managing Director Centre International de Développement Pharmaceutique (CIDP) Research and Innovation and Professor of Organic Chemistry with an endowed chair, University of Mauritius

• Rachel Bezner Kerr, Professor in Global Development, Cornell University 

• Yvonne Pinto, Aline Impact Limited

• Dr. Siobhan Gardiner, Director ESG Advisory, Deloitte
