Gramene Webinar on Rice Data & Resources in the Gramene Database

Fascination of Plants Day is here... Come celebrate it with Gramene!

Tuesday, May 19, 2015 @ 2:00 PM EDT

Learn the benefits of using Gramene to accelerate your research goals. During this webinar, we will demo the use of Gramene's comparative genomics visualization and analysis resources through practical examples of general interest to rice researchers.

This webinar will highlight the most recent rice data additions to the Gramene website including:

  • 12 complete reference genomes for Oryza species and the closely related Leersia perrieri.
  • Millions of SNP variant alleles in O. sativa, O. glaberrima, and O. barthii.
  • Over 200 curated rice pathways and orthology-based projections derived from these pathways for 33 additional plant species in the Plant Reactome.
  • New Oryza Genome Evolution (OGE) genome browser at http://oge.gramene.org featuring uniform annotations across all species.
