Gramene Webinar: The Plant Reactome. Tues, Feb 3, 2015 @ 2:00 - 2:30 pm EST

The Plant Reactome webinar has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015 @ 2:00 - 2:30 pm EST

Gramene will be holding a series of webinars to support the community of Plant researchers, and breeder in utilizing various comparative genomics resources and tools available at Gramene database. These webinars will provide opportunities for direct interactions between database users and Gramene scientists and developers. Participants are welcome to suggest a specific topic for upcoming webinars. Each webinar will cover practical examples to address specific topics of general interest, such as:

  • How many plant genes have genetic variants with the potential to introduce stop codons within CDS?

  • Would you like to download upstream or downstream flanking regions for all coding genes in your favorite species?

  • How about identifying genes that share a functional domain across species and view their relationship in gene family trees?

  • Would you like to visualize your favorite gene in the context of other crops and plant models?

  • Or generate lists of orthologs and paralogs across species?

  • Would you like to find out "master regulator genes" shared by all plants?

  • How about downloading all genes in pathways conserved across plants?

  • Looking to identify syntenic regions across plant species?

  • How about comparing structural annotations within and across species?

  • Do you want to make a publication quality figure with your own data projected across any combination of 39 plant reference genomes?

If you answered "Yes" to any of the above questions, then the Gramene Webinar series is for YOU!

The first webinar of this series will be on Tuesday, January 27th, 2015 at 2:00 PM-2:30 PM EST.

In this FREE 30-min webinar, we will provide a quick overview of The Plant Reactome, a platform for plant pathways comparative analyses.
