2024 AgBioData Virtual Community Workshop, Apr 29-30, May 2

This year’s AgBioData community workshop will be held virtually for three-days from April 29-30 and on May 2 from 9-11 AM CDT. It will include presentations from ending and current AgBioData working groups (WGs) about their accomplishments and recommendations, breakout room discussions on data-related issues and updates on the consortium's future.

The WGs that will be giving presentations include:

  • Genome Assembly and Annotation Nomenclature

  • Education (EWG)

  • Standards for Genetic Variation (SGV)

  • Data Federation Training

  • scRNAseq Biocuration (scRNA-bio)

  • FAIR Scientific Literature (FSL)

  • Data Reuse

  • Phenotypic Data Standardization and Management (PDSM)

  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Recruiting (DEIR)

  • Sustainability
