International Symposium on Rice Functional Genomics Conference in Chengdu, China, Aug 23-27, Abstracts Due July 1

The 2024 International Symposium on Rice Functional Genomics (2024 ISRFG) will be held in Chengdu, China from August 23 - 27, 2025. ISRFG 2025 will spotlight the latest breakthroughs in rice functional genomics and their far-reaching implications for agricultural innovation. As the world faces mounting challenges—ranging from climate change and soil degradation to escalating biotic stresses—the global rice research community has made remarkable strides in addressing these issues. Advances in fundamental rice science are not only driving transformative change in crop development but are also offering critical solutions for sustainable agriculture and enhanced human nutrition. This year’s theme, “Green and Nutritional Rice for Human Health and Sustainability,” captures the symposium’s commitment to addressing these urgent global needs.

There will be eight themed sessions:

  • Abiotic Stresses

  • Crosstalk of Multiple Processes

  • Functional Omics

  • Plant Nutrition and Development

  • AI and Biotechnology

Abratcts are due by July 1. Registration is required before abstracts are submitted.
