Ensembl Genomes: Extending Ensembl across the taxonomic space
Ensembl Genomes provides services for genome-scale data from non-vertebrate species, primarily through the use of the Ensembl software platform. We integrate data from across the taxonomic space and collaborate closely with groups involved in genome annotation and the development of domain-specific resources.
Ensembl Genomes is primarily composed of five sites, for bacteria, protists, fungi, plants and invertebrate metazoa, enabling single collection of interactive and programmatic interfaces to be used for accessing and comparing genome-scale data from species of scientific interest from across the taxonomy.
