GRAPEDIA, the Grapevine Genomics Encyclopedia, a platform for centralizing resources for research into grape cultivars, was recently funded through a grant from COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology). The Grapedia team’s aim is to make a single open-access platform for both the public and private sector, allowing data exploration and visualization of grapevine genetic, omics and phenotyping resources. GRAPEDIA will include tools for comparative analysis, as well as tailored services. Camille Rustenholz, University of Strasbourg, and Tomas Matus, I2SysBio, University of Valencia-CSIC will chair the GRAPEDIA group. The team is comprised of researchers from Europe and the United States including:
Jérôme Grimplet, CITA Aragon (Spain)
Dario Cantu, UC Davis (USA)
Pablo Carbonell-Bejerano, Max Planck Institute (Germany)
Marianna Fasoli, Università di Verona (Italy)
