AG2PI Ag Single Cell Workshop Before AGBT-Ag Conference, Mar 29-31

AG2PI is hosting an Ag Single cell workshop March 29-31, immediately prior to the AGBT-Ag meeting in Orlando, Florida. The goal of the workshop is to  develop a community of agricultural researchers and data resource experts to help develop resources to achieve the integrated analyses required to adapt  single-cell analysis approaches to improve genotype to phenotype prediction in agriculture. The three day event will include talks, breakout discussion groups and a community discussion.

Speakers at the workshop include:

  • Sharon Greenblum, Joint Genome Institute - “Data Management and Infrastructure within the Plant Cell Atlas community”

  • Irene Papatheodorou, Earlham Institute, Norwich, U.K. - “Data and meta-data management for re-using and integrating cell atlases”

  • Wes Warren, University of Missouri, Columbia, MO - “A single nuclei and cell perspective on the chicken immune system”

  • Fiona Mccarthy, University of Arizona
