Applications OPEN for MASC Initiative to support colleagues in need

The Multinational Arabidopsis Steering Committee (MASC) is delighted to launch a new funding initiative that aims to support colleagues whose research has been curtailed by an unexpected loss of funding/ support.

MASC has collated a set of host laboratories who are willing to welcome researchers-in-need to complete their postgraduate or postdoctoral work.

Each lab will make available a different set of resources to help researchers in their specific subject area. In addition, MASC have funding to also support travel costs.

MASC’s role in this process will be to triage applications and communicate between potential applicants and hosts. We understand that there are barriers to this initiative but we hope that this will be starting point to supporting colleagues in need.
