The Maize Genetics Cooperation is hosting its 65th annual meeting from March 16th to the 19th of 2023 in St. Louis, Missouri. The meeting will include plenary talks, oral presentations, poster sessions, and opportunities for networking.

A Gordon Research Conference on Single-Cell Approaches in Plant Biology entitled “Understanding Functions and Behaviors of Individual Plant Cells in Space and Time” will take place from July 30th to August 4th in Ventura, California. The conference aims to bring together researchers from diverse areas to present new, unpublished research, and includes talks, posters and networking opportunities.

The Agricultural Genome to Phenome Initiative (AG2PI), funded by USDA NIFA, is accepting proposals for their larger $250K, “coconut” grants. Any proposal on a topic relevant to the agricultural G2P community is welcome, though this grant is focused on supporting research projects that have applications to both crops and livestock. Proposals in the following areas, identified by the USDA as of special interest, are encouraged:
