Release #31 of Gramene brought new data sets and features in the Genetic Diversity module. Gramene Diversity now features five large-scale SNP genotype data sets generated by recent re-sequncing projects in rice, maize, and Arabidopsis from the OryzaSNP, Panzea, Arabidopsis 2010 and 1001 Genomes projects. Storage of these several hundred million data points is achieved fairly efficiently using GDPDM 4.1. You can perform position-based searches and retrieve overlapping gene information about these SNPs using the SNP Query tool. We also offer up the SNP data as Java Web Start enabled TASSEL links, which when clicked will automatically launch and load TASSEL3.0, Gramene Diversity's primary statistical analysis tool. The new SNP data in Diversity can be downloaded in bulk in several different formats including plink, hampmap, and flapjack files, or as full mysql databases.
