Gramene release 33 is out

The Gramene team is happy to announce the 33rd release is available at www.gramene.org. This build includes a new assembly of Oryza glaberrima whole genome as well as updated chromosome 3 short arm assemblies and annotations for O.barthii, O.brachyantha, O.glaberrima, O.nivara, and O.rufipogon. We have built a new Compara database with gene trees, synteny and whole genome alignments. Also new this build in our genomes section is maize variation data. The four pathway databases hosted and curated by Gramene (RiceCyc, BrachyCyc, SorghumCyc and MaizeCyc) have been upgraded to the Pathway Tools version 15. Gramene's genetic diversity database introduces new SNP data sets for rice and Arabidopsis, and the SNP Query tool now allows searches by the names of QTLs and genes as well as associated ontology terms. Our BLAST databases have been upgraded along with our BioMart tool. We look forward to hearing your feedback on our latest work.
