Gramene database build 49 released

The Gramene Team is pleased to announce its release #49. In collaboration with Ensembl Plants we are providing in this release:

  • New EMS-derived mutation data for Sorghum bicolor (see example)

  • New variation data for Oryza glumaepatula

  • Updated Oryza longistaminata assembly and annotations

  • Updated Compara gene trees

  • Updated protein domain information based on the latest InterProScan

  • Updated gene, sequence and variation BioMarts

  • Updated software, genome browser, database schema and API to Ensembl version 83

  • SIFT scores added for barley variation (see example; SIFT is now also available in the Variant Effect Predictor)
