Dr. Ted DeJong, Vice-President of the International Society for Horticultural Science, has initiated the launch of “Hort Forum,” a series of webinars followed by panel discussions and open questions that open up the opportunity for open discussion and debate. The third installment, organized by Dr. DeJong and Dr. George Manganaris from Cyprus University of Technology, is titled “Leveraging Molecular Markers in Fruit Tree Breeding: From Promise to Reality,” and will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 17:00 – 19:00 Central European Time (CET). François Laurens, President of ISHS (France), will be moderating the discussion.
