The Jeanie Borlaug Laube Women in Triticum (WIT) award, which celebrates and empowers women in the field of wheat science. is now accepting nominations for their 2025 Early Career Awards. Self-nominations are accepted. The aim of the award is to spotlight dedication, innovation, and resilience in breaking barriers within the agricultural landscape. Advanced undergraduates to recent PhD graduates and post-doctoral fellows are eligible to apply. Priority is given to applicants at the pre-professoriate level. Applicants will be assessed on the strength of their scientific abstract, commitment to and passion for agricultural development, leadership potential and quality of written statement of intent.
