Registration is now open for the 2026 Corn Breeding Research (CBR) Meeting, which will take place February 25–26 at the Maritim Hotel Köln, immediately preceding the Maize Genetics Meeting. Space is limited due to meeting room capacity, so participants are encouraged to register early. Registration fees are $150 for graduate students and $175 for all other attendees; both rates will increase by $25 after December 25, 2025. Organizers also encourage attendees to share the announcement broadly to ensure wide participation across the community.
Graduate students are invited to submit abstracts for oral presentations—a highlight of the annual meeting. The Larry Darrah Student Presentation Awards will again recognize the best student talks. Abstracts, including title, authors, affiliations, and up to 300 words of text, should follow specified formatting guidelines and be submitted to Alevtina Ruban (alevtina.ruban@kws.com) by February 7, 2026. Hotel rooms are available through a group block at the Maritim Hotel Köln until December 25, 2025, though availability is limited.
The CBR Meeting also welcomes self-nominations from non-student researchers interested in presenting. Those wishing to propose a talk may contact Alevtina Ruban (alevtina.ruban@kws.com) or Douglas Eudy (douglas.eudy@bayer.com).
