PAG Asia Virtual Conference - June 22-24, Abstracts Due May 31

This year, the PAG Asia Conference will be a completely virtual conference, and take place from June 22 to June 24. The conference, conducted entirely in English, will include 6 plenary sessions as well as both scientific and technical workshops.

The American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS) is hosting its annual meeting from July 30 - August 3 in Chicago, Illinois. The conference is focused on bringing together people from different sectors of the horticultural community to share new technology, research and ideas relating to horticulture and plant sciences. The Plant Biology graduate program of the Penn State Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences is hosting the 23rd Penn State Plant Biology Symposium, focusing on RNA biology, from May 17th to May 20th on the Penn State campus. The conference will include plenary lectures as well as short talks chosen from submitted abstracts and poster sessions.

New NAM gene expression tracks available on the Maize PanGenome Browser

Gene expression (RNA-Seq) data generated for 26 maize NAM founder genomes recently assembled by the NAM Consortium (see Hufford et al, 2021) is now available in the Maize PanGenome browser.

Improving Global Agricultural Data Virtual Conference, March 22 - April 8

The Research Data Alliance (RDA) is hosting their second annual Improving Global Agricultural Data (IGAD) Conference virtually from March 22 to April 8. IGAD is a group which focuses on all topics related to global agriculture data. Panel sessions, group discussions, and presentations will provide an opportunity for deepening collaborations and facilitate sharing knowledge and developing innovations. There are individual registration links for each virtual session. Interested participants are encouraged to register for multiple days based on interests and needs.
